The Society of Dyers and Colourists

The SDC is a professional, chartered society. We are also a global organisation, with our Head Office in Bradford UK, we have an international network of regions and activities.

Our mission is to educate the changing world in the Science
of Colour.

In 1962 SDC became a registered educational charity, and in 1963 SDC was granted a Royal Charter and became the only organisation in the world that can award the Chartered Colourist Status in recognition of individual professionalism.
