There’s nothing small about embroidery – SDC webinar
Course Description
This presentation looked at how embroidery has been worked for centuries, it was found on objects in Tutankhamen’s tomb. Dr Susan Kay-Williams told us how it has been used to embellish everything from robes of state to curtains and how it has been used as occupational therapy from the First World War to today’s mental health and well being.
The presentation is followed by a Q&A.
This is one of a series of webinars covering all aspects of textiles and coloration.
Of general interest they also provide SDC recognised CPD hours and certification.
